FURsquad Animal Rescue

FURsquad Animal Rescue is the heart of our mission here at Pawlished Pet Supplies. Based in Wise County as a 501c3 non-profit organization, we work every day to support local pets, families, and our community shelter through hands‑on rescue, transport, and access to affordable veterinary care.

We’re proud to share that FURsquad has received its first-ever grant, and every dollar is being used exactly where our region needs it most, spay and neuter services for community-owned pets and shelter animals. These surgeries prevent future litters, reduce overcrowding, and give animals a healthier start as they move toward adoption or rescue placement.

FURsquad works closely alongside the Wise County shelter to identify animals in need, provide medical support, and coordinate transfers to partner rescues with greater resources. When possible, we also help rehome pets locally through our foster network and community outreach.

Every purchase made at Pawlished Pet Supplies helps fuel this work, from transport and vetting to emergency care and lifesaving spay/neuter services. Together, we’re building a more compassionate future for animals across Appalachia.
